Ryan Hunter is the sort of guy that makes people say, “Hey, that’s a guy of some sort.” Raised in the loving, if somewhat dramatic influence of his local community theater, Ryan always loved telling stories and started writing them down, in play form for the most part, at the age of seventeen. They were not good.
Since those days Ryan has moved on to writing short stories, many which have been published in online magazines, material for his standup act (which he no longer up-stands) and the odd novel now and again, emphasis on the descriptor, “odd.”
In 2011 Ryan took the path of so many huggy, feely drama kids who made an attempt at standup comedy and published a horror novella, Werehouse, with a small publishing house, Panic Press.
I have it on the best authority that Ryan is very happy to be joining up with the good folks of Literary Underground and can’t wait for all of the things to come.
