M.C. Arvanitis is a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature and a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers. Now retired, her occupation as a preK and early grades teacher gave her insight into the stories children like.
Mrs. Arvanitis also digs into short stories .. any genre .. Just give her a topic and she will write it.
Ms. Arvanitis (known as Margie or Marge by her friends) was raised in the Nebraska Sand Hills, lived most of her adult life in Fremont, Nebraska raising her children, and running her preschool. The past years she has wandered around stopping for a few years in California, and Texas. Currently She lives with her sister in Oregon, but who knows where her wandering feet will land next.
She founded and now directs Online Single Seniors Outreach, a place where single seniors find friends on line. Her hobbies? Putting flower plants in pots. Other than that she cooks, reads and generally keeps busy.
